skylet

TypeScript Developer

TypeScript developer at Skylet. You join production engineering teams across modern stacks, clouds, and data tooling.

What the role is

You work embedded inside Skylet clients, production engineering organisations shipping to real users. The work spans whatever the problem calls for: frontend, backend, platform, data, often a bit of each. The tools change between engagements; the discipline doesn’t.

What we’re looking for

  • Substantial senior experience shipping production TypeScript.
  • Production experience in one of the major clouds: AWS, GCP, or Azure. At home in at least one, open to the rest.
  • Comfortable picking up the stack the problem calls for, not the one on your CV.
  • At home with mature CI/CD, observability, and infrastructure as code as table stakes, not obstacles.
  • Plain, quiet collaboration. No heroes, no dodging.
  • Working fluency in Swedish and English.

03 / Benefits

What you get with us.

We measure ourselves against one number: how many people leave Skylet. It should always be zero. Everyone stays, and when something isn't working we change ourselves before we change who's here. Easy to claim, hard to fake, so we try to earn the number every day.

And we back it with one of the most generous packages on the market: competitive pay, a flexible bonus you can take as cash or roll into pension, and a tooling and learning budget that outclasses the competition. Plus private health insurance with no waiting list, regular check-ups, and professional therapy when you want it.

  • 01

    Permanent employment

A permanent role with a salary that keeps coming between engagements. Pick your next role by what you want to grow into, not by what pays the bills.

  • 02

    Health plan

Private healthcare with no queue, regular check-ups, and professional therapy when you need to talk it out. Fully covered: looking after yourself is part of the job.

  • 03

    After-works and parties

After-works with food and drinks on us. Someone brings a topic, we argue about it, we stay longer. Parties in between. All optional; the aim is to make it worth coming anyway.

  • 04

    Two conferences a year

One to build the team: off-site, good food, enough downtime to actually talk. One tech-focused: we dig into what's shipped in the field this half and what's worth bringing into our own work next.

  • 05

    Modern tooling and learning

You work with the tools that actually work right now. We buy the licenses, run the evals, and share what works. Each year brings paid learning time that beats anything on the market, so you don't have to learn it on your evenings.

  • 06

    Senior peers

A small team where you know everyone by name. Senior software engineers who track the field and have opinions worth listening to, every week.
